My Family

My family has been in my life since day one  My parents refused to put me in a nursing home and they raised me like any child. My mom sat on the floor with me and taught me how to read.  I loved my chalk board and my magnetic letters.  Ana's BD pics 099

My dad is hella funny. I always loved when he threw me up in the air.  I loved taking walks around Mills College with him because my mom taught Spanish there.  I think I got my style from my mom; my father has no style.  I did get the writing gene from my dad.  I remember when my dad and I used to trade insults and we still do, texting. Sometimes we do this sitting five feet away from each other.

Becky, my oldest sister, taught me to appreciate music. I loved hearing her play Latin jazz. I love all three of my nephews, but Max is special. He helps me out.  We have excellent conversations. He asks me a lot of questions. In San Diego I had most fun with him.  He dragged me to Legoland, only because I love him.
